Bell has delivered the 200th 505 Jet Ranger X, with the landmark helicopter handed to Austrian corporate transport specialist Hubi-fly Helikopter.
The US manufacturer has achieved the milestone in a little over two-and-a-half years, having shipped the first example of the short-light-single in March 2017 and reached the 100-unit mark in June 2018.

“What sets the Bell 505 apart from other short light single aircraft is its multi-mission capability,” says LaShan Bonaparte, programme director.
Powered by a single Safran Helicopter Engines Arrius 2R, the Canadian-built 505 boasts a speed of 125kt (232km/h) and a useful load of 680kg (1,500lb).
