Bombardier has reached a new agreement with SkyWest Inc under which it will maintain the company’s CRJ regional jets for another ten years, Bombardier announces.

The deal covers CRJs operated by both SkyWest Airlines and ExpressJet Airlines, and permits Bombardier to perform the work in the US states of Arizona, Georgia and West Virginia, Bombardier says on 22 July.

Combined, SkyWest’s affiliates operate 433 CRJs, including 234 CRJ200s, 135 CRJ700s and 64 CRJ900s, according to Bombardier.

Bombardier maintains 90% of all CRJs operating in the USA, it says.
