The Schiebel S-100 Camcopter has won a Royal Australian Navy contract for an un-specified number of airframes.
The package includes three years of follow-on support, says Schiebel in a statement.
The announcement follows a 2016 request for tenders for the aircraft, adds the Vienna-based manufacturer.
The award sees the S-100 beat the UMS Skeldar, which was also down-selected for the requirement in May 2016.
