Israel's Elbit Systems is to acquire Tucson, Arizona-based Universal Avionics after receiving the necessary government approvals for the deal.
No details of the transaction's value have been revealed.
Elbit says the purchase, which it describes as an "asset acquisition agreement", will be completed "in the coming weeks".
Universal Avionics is best known as a provider of retrofit flightdecks for a wide range of business and general aviation aircraft types.
