ExpressJet signs component repair deal with Airinmar

British company Airinmar will manage component repairs for US regional carrier ExpressJet Airlines under the terms of a new three-year agreement, Airinmar announces in a media release.

The deal calls for Airinmar to support more than 300 aircraft that are operated by ExpressJet, a division of SkyWest Inc.

Wade Steel, SkyWest's chief commercial officer, says the agreement will help ExpressJet reduce costs, accelerate repair times, increase inventory and improve overall supply chain effectiveness.

Airinmar, which is based in Berkshire, England, is a division of MRO provider AAR.

ExpressJet's fleet includes seven Embraer 135s, 189 ERJ-145s, 75 Bombardier CRJ200s, 43 CRJ700s and 27 CRJ900s, according to the Ascend Fleets database.
