China’s Guangxi Diwang Group has signed a letter of intent for 10 Bell 525 relentless super-medium helicopters.

The deal marks the first potential sale of the Bell 525 in China, says Bell Helicopter in a statement. The company, which Bell calls a “commercial development and real estate investor”, will use the rotorcraft for tourism as well as search and rescue.

“After learning more about the Bell 525, being able to experience its capabilities in the aircraft’s simulator, and seeing the prototype fly at its production centre in Amarillo it was easy to determine that the Bell 525 is the best choice to fill our commercial needs in China,” says Hai Lin, Chairman of Guangxi Diwang Group.
