Stratajet boss Jonny Nicol has stoked a war of words with would-be rival Stellar Labs, which has been attempting to claim parity with the UK company.

“When someone’s a liar, you call them a liar,” Nicol told an NBAA press conference on 31 October, an event he had rescheduled to avoid a time clash with a similar function being hosted by Stellar.

He says Stratajet is the only technology provider to offer a 100% accurate booking engine with all the potential cost variables factored in.

“When somebody gets too far ahead and you can’t catch them you start shooting at them,” he says of his rival’s comments.

“Our system does not exist anywhere else in the world and you can’t accurately quote without it.”

Nicol was at NBAA to announce an offer for private jet operators, promising them free access to Stratajet’s booking software, as well as working with them to build a branded and tailored customer-facing website and/or mobile application.

This new solution, alongside Stratajet’s cutting-edge proprietary pricing and search engine, will allow operators and partners to accurately provide their customers with availability and costs of aircraft.

Flights are then instantly bookable online, without the need for operators to deliver manual quotes on any requests received.
