Pratt & Whitney Military Engines will deliver its first enhanced engine package-configured F100-229s next month for integration with South Korea's next batch of Boeing F-15K fighters. The improvements will enable operators to log 6,000 cycles between scheduled depot maintenance, says head of business development Bill Begert. "The safest single-engine fighter engine in the world has become safer," he says.
