Sikorsky has approved the production facilities of Danish aircraft defence systems manufacturer Terma Global, which will lead to the integration of Terma's electronic warfare solutions on the former's military helicopters.
It could additionally yield future contracts to supply composite and metal components to the US airframer, says Terma.
The deeper relationship between the two companies has been made possible through the offset obligations stemming from Denmark's 2012 order for nine Sikorsky MH-60R Seahawks for its navy.
