Korean Air's first four Airbus A380s have entered final assembly at Airbus's Toulouse factory, with the first aircraft scheduled for delivery in May. The carrier has 10 A380s on order and will take five in 2011 and the rest between 2012 and 2014. It is training 120 of its pilots to fly the aircraft, which will be configured in a 400- to 450-seat format and operated on east Asian short-haul routes and long-haul services to Europe and the USA.
