Canadian MRO provider Premier Aviation and JetBlue Airways have signed a five-year agreement under which Premier will provide Embraer 190 heavy maintenance and paint services.

Premier has already started providing the E190 heavy maintenance at a site in Rome, New York, and will later this year begin the paint work at a facility in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, says JetBlue in a media release.

JetBlue operates 60 E190s, according to Flight Fleets Analyzer.

The New York-based airline did not immediately respond to queries for additional details about changes to its maintenance programme.

Fleets Analyzer, however, shows that Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Services (EAMS) in Nashville has in the past performed JetBlue's E190 heavy maintenance checks.
