Bombardier is showing its latest Global 6000 cabin in Asia for the first time, as the Canadian manufacturer continues to notch up orders in the region for its revamped long-range, large cabin business jet.

The Premier interior features a number of design elements lifted from the larger and longer-range Global 7000, which is due to enter service this year. The changes are subtle, but "will be noticed by our customers", says Nilesh Pattanayak, regional vice-president, Asia-Pacific for Bombardier Business Aircraft. They include a "more contemporary design" with squared-off lines and details such as a mobile phone holder.

Globals make up a higher proportion of Bombardier's overall business jet sales in Asia than in other regions, with many high-net-worth individuals needing the space and range of the larger aircraft family to travel to Europe and North America.
