Two examples have been delivered to the force, which will use them for VIP transport and police missions, says Airbus Helicopters.

“We welcome the Royal Thai Police as the inaugural H175 operator for this region and we are grateful for their continued trust in our products as they expand their fleet," says Philippe Monteux, head of Southeast Asia and Pacific for Airbus Helicopters.

Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that prior to the H175 delivery the Thai police operated 38 helicopters, mainly from Bell Helicopter and Airbus Helicopters, and four fixed-wing aircraft. Key types include the H155 (five examples), Bell 205 (seven), and Bell 412EP (five), and and Bell 212 (7).
