Vietnam low-cost carrier Vietjet Air has signed an engine service agreement with Lufthansa Technic.

The MRO firm will provide maintenance, training, and other services, says VietJet in a statement.

“The agreement will pave the way for both groups to mutually construct a platform to develop facilities and technical expertise up to top-rated domestic and international quality standards,” says VietJet.

Flightglobal’s Fleets Analyzer shows that VietJet operates 23 A320 family aircraft powered by CFM56 engines.
