South Korea is on track to receive its first C-130J-30 tactical transport in 2014, with the aircraft to soon enter flight testing at Lockheed Martin's Marietta site in Georgia.
Pictured in a three-colour camouflage scheme, aircraft 5730 is one of four stretched-fuselage Hercules on order for the Republic of Korea Air Force. These were ordered by Seoul in late 2010.
South Korea's air force already operates 12 H-model C-130s, which Flightglobal's Ascend Online Fleets database records as having entered use between 1984 and 1989.
