Rockwell Collins (Hall 4, G10) has signed a strategic alliance agreement with Air New Zealand to pursue common business interests.

The alliance follows the recent signing of a business agreement and maintenance contract with the company for full service aircraft maintenance on commercial air transport and business aircraft as well as regional airline customers.

Agreement

Rockwell Collins Aviation Services (CAS) will provide maintenance repair and technical support from its new Auckland and current Melbourne Service Centres. It will offer a fixed price per flight hour basis on Air New Zealand's fleet of 14 Boeing 767s, 18 737s and 8 747s, under the three-year agreement.

Air New Zealand Engineering Services (ANZES) will provide full service maintenance, including repair capability for engines and the airframe, composite and interior and refurbishment, as well as reliability data and cost control.
