India's Air Sahara expects to introduce 11 additional aircraft by July, including its first widebodies, which will be used for international services to new destinations in the UK and USA. Air Sahara, which now operates mainly domestically, aims to launch services to South-East Asia by April and the UK in September, with US services starting no earlier than next year. Five widebodies will be added to the fleet on lease, with the Airbus A340, Boeing 747 and 777 being evaluated.
