Uzbekistan plan
Uzbekistan plans to launch a 700-800kg (1,540-1,760lb)-class communications satellite into geostationary orbit. It will provide services to the state and to the rest of Asia. A satellite builder has not been designated. Israeli, Russian and US companies are in contention for the contract.
