Airbus Industrie will be selling its new A319CJ corporate jet for $35million.
This is $3million higher than the July list price of its Boeing competitor, but Airbus is emphasising residual value.
"For example, if a government that had bought this aircraft later decided it no longer needed to keep it as a corporate jet, it could be converted very quickly," says John Leahy, senior vice-president at Airbus Commercial .
The A319CJ will be identical structurally to the A319 airliner.
