Air Algerie has become the fifth airline to introduce the smallest version of the Boeing Next Generation 737 family, the -600, following the delivery of the first of five on order. The aircraft forms part of the airline's short- haul fleet renewal programme. The remaining four are scheduled to arrive before the end of this year.
