Bangkok Airways has closed financing on its first ATR 72-600, delivered in Toulouse today.

The 72-seater, MSN 1194, is the first of a six-aircraft mandate under a 12-year ECA-guaranteed loan fronted by SACE and Coface.

HSBC and French bank Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank are the joint arrangers of the ECA-guaranteed loans.

Financing of the first ATR 72-600 was arranged by HSBC, which is to finance a total of four deliveries.

Credit Agricole CIB was mandated for the second and the fourth ATR 72-600s.

Bangkok Airways firmed a six-aircraft order in February, taking options for a further two units, which it converted in July.

Deliveries of the aircraft are scheduled between November 2014 and February 2016.

The carrier will take one new -600 in November, four in 2015, and another in 2016.
