The David Clark Company (Hall 2, E17) is exhibiting the new dual impedance H10-66XL headset with electronic noise cancelling (ENC).

The device, billed as aviation's first and only headset to combine dual impedance capability with ENC, dramatically increases noise attenuation with ENC activated, beyond the already remarkable passive attenuation of the headset.

It features a battery powered module providing up to 60h of use.

Enhanced comfort features include a soft, foam-filled headpad and form-fitting seal.

Also on show at the stand is the Marine Intercom System (MIS) which can be used for communications between land, sea and air.

The MIS is ideal for communication between small, high-speed craft and has become popular with coast guards, drug enforcement agencies and the armed forces.

International sales manager James Comer says: "We've been very busy so far – as well as interest in the UK, we're seeing a lot of interest from the Gulf region."

The David Clark Company has pioneered air and space protective equipment design since 1941.

It currently manufactures the Shuttle advance crew escape suits and full pressure suits worn by high-altitude pilots.
