Competition bureau approves WestJet buyout
The Canadian Competition Bureau has granted approval without conditions for Onex Partners to acquire WestJet for around C$5 billion ($3.7 billion), removing another regulatory obstacle and bringing the Toronto-based private equity firm closer to completing the buyout.
