Heli Dubai has launched the United Arab Emirates' first VIP helicopter service operating two Agusta 109E Powers. Two Agusta 109 Grandes are on order and scheduled for delivery in 2006, while two Bell 412s will be added to the fleet in the third and fourth quarter, following the completion of a cabin redesign. Heli Dubai is replacing the standard nine-seat configuration with an all-business class layout consisting of eight forward facing seats to provide increased leg room, says Heli Dubai. The company is also planning to acquire at least two other light and medium twin-engine helicopter types. Meanwhile, Spanish helicopter charter company Helisureste has added a sixth Power to its fleet. The aircraft, which is based in Teruel, central Spain will be used for emergency medical services operations. The Alicante-based company is also planning to acquire two 412EPs in the next few weeks, bringing its total 412 fleet to 12. One of the aircraft will be deployed on Helisureste's daily scheduled helicopter service from Gozo to Malta.
