Alaska Airlines has appointed DVB Bank's aviation asset management team to remarket nine Boeing 737-400s.

The aircraft up for sale consist of three passenger, one freighter and five combi jets, and are set to exit the carrier's fleet by year-end.

A source familiar with the transaction tells FlightGlobal that lessors and airlines doing freight conversions have shown interest in the passenger and combi aircraft.

Alaska Airlines operates 15 737-400s, six of which are leased, Flight Fleets Analyzer shows.
