Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering (GAMECO) completed its first Airbus A350 line maintenance on 4 March.

The aircraft, parked at GAMECO's main base at Guangzhou, was operated by China Airlines.

"The smooth completion of GAMECO’s first line maintenance services on [the] A350 enables us to accumulate maintenance experiences for this new aircraft type and demonstrates [the] full competence of GAMECO's A350 maintenance," says the MRO firm.

Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that China Airlines operates a fleet of 84 aircraft, of which five are A350-900s. It also has nine more on order.
