Former Jetstar group chief executive Jayne Hrdlicka will leave the Qantas Group in March 2018 to become the chief executive of dairy processor A2 Milk.

Hrdlicka led Jetstar between 2012 and November 2017, after which she was appointed chief executive of Qantas’s loyalty business.

She joined Qantas in 2010 as group executive of strategy and technology, previously having a long career with Bain & Company.

“Jayne has made a tremendous contribution to the Qantas Group, and particularly to Jetstar, over the past seven years,” says Qantas group chief executive Alan Joyce.

“Jetstar is now one of the world’s leading low-cost carriers and has delivered a series of record profits. Jayne has been instrumental in the expansion of Jetstar in Asia and she leaves with our best wishes for her next challenge.”

Qantas adds that it expects to appoint a new chief executive for its loyalty business next year.
