Litton Aero Products has announced at Asian Aerospace '98 that its LTN-101 Flagship navigation system will be flown by four regional commercial airlines.
China Southern Airlines is to take ten systems for additional A320s being acquired; Sichuan Airlines is to fit the Flagship to four A320/321s. Singapore-based Silk Air is taking eight with an option on a further ten. Five Zhejiang Airline A320s will also be fitted.
All systems are being bought with the LTN-2001 GPS Receiver.
Designed to ARINC 743 specifications, the LTN-2001 is an eight-channel CA Code GPS Receiver. The Flagship contains the latest in Ring Laser Gyro (RLG) technology; it has and been selected by 30 airlines for more than 300 aircraft.
