Chinese MRO Ameco has signed an agreement with China Aviation Supplies Corporation (CASC) for the maintenance of Airbus A320 components.

The agreement, which also covers spare parts supply and leasing, builds on the pair’s existing partnerships in landing gear and component resource sharing.

CASC is China’s largest third-party component services provider. It has capabilities with aircraft types such as the A350, Boeing 777 and 787.

CASC general manager Zhang Jun says the cooperation aligns with both companies’ strategy. He adds that the company will explore other cooperation opportunities with Ameco.
