Myanmar direct
For the first time, Taiwan flag carrier China Airlines has launched direct services to Myanmar with a twice-weekly service between Taipei and Yangon, using a Boeing 737-400. Myanmar, under pressure from China, has refused to conclude a formal bilateral air-services agreement with Taiwan, but will allow charter flights.
