Sabre Airways has become the first UK airline to introduce the Next Generation Boeing 737, with the arrival of the first of two -800s being leased from International Lease Finance (ILFC). The Gatwick based charter airline will take its second -800 from ILFC in October, and has an option for a third next year. In the 1999 summer season, Sabre's two -800s will be operated for Virgin Holidays' new airline division, Virgin Sun, on European charters.
