HeavyLift Cargo Airlines is to acquire a third Airbus A300B4-200 freighter and is planning to increase its fleet by one aircraft every six months for the next two years. The first two are already in service, operating European flights for KLM Cargo and Lufthansa Cargo. A customer for the third aircraft has yet to be announced. Graham Pearce, the airline's commercial director, says it expects to be operating seven A300s by the end of 2000. HeavyLift also operates a fleet of Iluysin Il-76s, Antonov An-12s and the An-124-100.
