Embraer has delivered an ERJ-145 regional jet to the government of Nigeria's Bauchi state, which plans to operate the aircraft on domestic routes. The agreement the Brazilian manufacturer signed in September last year includes a purchase option for another aircraft of the same type. The aircraft is the first of Embraer's regional jets operating in Nigeria. A Legacy 600 is already in operation with Nigeria's Rivers state government.
