Tusas Aerospace Industries (TAI) has signed a memorandum of agreement with Eurocopter to extend the two companies' co-operation on Super Puma/Cougar aerostructures production. The deal will see TAI become sole source for Super Puma/Cougar and EC227/725 helicopter complete structures for Eurocopter worldwide. Within the existing Phoenix 2 contract for 30 Cougar AS532s under the EUROTAI consortium, TAI already manufactures major sub-assemblies for the programme.
