The CASA 295 appears for the first time with an inflight refuelling probe, as does the mock-up of the Aermacchi M346 trainer while the Dassault Rafale is fitted with a businesslike pair of overwing conformal fuel tanks. Similar tanks are fitted to the Lockheed Martin F-16 in the static park, and are being designed for the Saab/BAE Systems JAS39 Gripen and for advanced versions of the Eurofighter Typhoon.
