The National Business Aviation Association and China Rendez-Vous will partner to promote each other's forthcoming events in the Asian region.
NBAA will promote Hainan Rendez-Vous 2011, which is organised by China Rendez-Vous, and takes place at Sanya airport from 1-4 April 2011.
China Rendez-Vous in turn will promote the 2012 Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE2012), scheduled for 28 February 28-1 March 2012. ABACE2012 will be held at Shanghai Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Center at Hongqiao airport.
"This co-ordinated effort will help raise the visibility of business aviation in the region, and promote its value in optimising travel," says Delphine Lignieres, founder and managing director of Hainan Rendez-Vous.
NBAA president and chief executive Ed Bolen says: "The upcoming events being produced by NBAA and China Rendez-Vous will both have strong participation from people and companies in the region's business community. This promotional partnership will strengthen the value of both events for participants."
Hainan Rendez-Vous, organised by China Rendez-Vous, describes itself as "a unique event celebrating the style, glamour and excitement of the luxury world".
The four-day event showcases Asia's largest collection of private jets, mega yachts, luxury homes and high-end Chopard jewellery on 5,000m2 (53,800ft2) of exhibition space.
The organiser says that more than 200 VIPs will be flown to Sanya by private jet, while the show is also expected to draw around 8,000 high-net-worth individuals from across China.
