Eutelsat has finalised an agreement with Italy's Telespazio to assume control and commercialisation of the EMS payload, developed by ESA and carried on the Italsat F2 communications satellite launched in 1996. The EMS voice, fax, data, messaging and positioning service will complement Eutelsat's existing Euteltracs road haulage management system.
