Mattijs ten Brink has taken over as managing director and chairman of Netherlands-based leisure carrier Transavia Airlines, part of the Air France-KLM group.

A veteran of the group, most recently serving as its senior vice-president of cargo sales and distribution, ten Brink assumed his new role on 1 August, replacing Bram Gräber, who has become Air France-KLM's executive vice-president of passenger strategy.

Ten Brink joined KLM Cargo in 1998, and became its vice-president of global operations in 2006.
