Icelandic budget carrier Wow Air's first Airbus A330neo has entered final assembly at the airframer's Toulouse headquarters.

Wow Air disclosed last year that it would lease four A330-900s for its fleet. The twinjets are exclusively powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines.

The carrier says its first aircraft will enter service at the end of this year.

Wow's long-haul fleet also includes A330-300s and the carrier uses Airbus single-aisle types for its transatlantic network.
