French Polynesian airline Air Tahiti Nui has added two weekly flights from Papeete to Auckland, New Zealand, and Sydney, Australia. Qantas will operate the legs between Auckland and Sydney under a codeshare. Lufthansa has launched a twice-weekly Boeing 747 cargo service for German freight forwarders Kühne & Nagel and Schenker Deutschland from Frankfurt to Atlanta, Chicago and New York. Low- fare carrier Delta Express has added a daily Providence, Rhode Island, to Ft Lauderdale, Florida, service. A second daily service will run from 1 June. Adria and JAT are restarting flights between Belgrade, Yugoslavia and Ljubljana, Slovenia. Northwest Airlink carrier Mesaba Airlines is adding from 1 June two more Saab 340 services from Detroit to Peoria, Illinois. A fourth daily service will operate from Detroit to Alpena, Michigan, and Sault Ste Marie, Michigan, from the same date. Airlink's Express Airlines I is to fly two daily Bombardier CRJ services between Columbus, Ohio and Memphis, Tennessee from 1 June.
