The Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC) has appointed Rhiannon Chapman, former human resources director of the London Stock Exchange and chief executive of the Industrial Society, to investigate ways to improve the skills and training of UK aerospace workers.
She will work with companies to improve workplace training and enhance graduate recruitment and career progression.
SBAC director-general Sally Howes says: "It is a major coup to recruit someone of Rhiannon's ability. She is looking forward to working with member companies, particularly SMEs, about how they can improve their processes."
