Smiths Industries has announced at the show the inking of service deals worth more than £70 million ($110 million).
British Aerospace has awarded the Product Support division of Smiths Industries a contract covering its avionics systems on the Hawk lead-in fighter aircraft ordered by the Royal Australian Air Force. The six-year contract begins with delivery of the first aircraft in second quarter of 2000.
Product Support will also provide the US Navy with logistics, engineering support and obsolescence support for its stores management system on Boeing F/A-18C/D, Northrop Grumman F-14 and AV-8B aircraft. It will also provide spares to FLS Aerospace, which has more than 300 aircraft under service contracts.
Smiths Industries Aerospace has also unveiled a deal to supply Air France with fuel quality indicating systems transient suppression retrofits for its fleet of Boeing 747s.
