Avelo to cut six 737-700s from fleet and close trio of bases

Houston-based low-cost carrier Avelo Airlines is closing three crew bases and removing six Boeing 737-700s from its fleet as part of network streamlining efforts following a major recapitalisation that has strengthened its balance sheet.
