Brazilian aircraft maker Embraer’s second quarter commercial aircraft deliveries declined year-on-year to 26 aircraft, though the number of handoffs increased from the first quarter of this year.
The company also logged a second quarter uptick in deliveries of executive jets.
The 26 second quarter commercial aircraft deliveries included 22 E175s, one E190, two E195s and one of the company’s next-generation E190-E2, Embraer reports.
By comparison, Embraer delivered 11 commercial aircraft in the first quarter of 2019 and 28 in the second quarter of 2018.
Embraer also delivered 25 executive jets in the second quarter, including four Phenom 100s, 15 Phenom 300s, one Legacy 450, three Legacy 500s, one Legacy 650 and one Praetor 600.
The company delivered 11 executive jets in the first quarter of this year and 20 in the second quarter of 2019.
The value of Embraer’s aircraft order backlog stood at $16.9 billion at the end of June, up from $16 billion three months earlier but down from $17.4 billion at the end of June 2018, according to Embraer’s figures.

Embraer plans to release its second quarter financial results on 14 August.
