Middle Eastern carrier Emirates is to purchase another Airbus A380 once the lease term for the jet expires.
Emirates will acquire the aircraft from investment specialist Stratos.
Stratos has identified the airframe as MSN190 – an Engine Alliance GP7200-powered example, registered A6-EOO.
The aircraft will be transferred when its lease term ends in 2027.

Stratos says the transaction has been agreed on behalf of a group of Asia-based institutional investors.
The long-term lease agreement was originally structured by Stratos in 2015.
“This transaction reaffirms our ability to continue to support our airline partners and deliver best-in-class asset management services to our institutional partners,” says marketing director Cian O’Shea.
Dubai-based Emirates has entered a number of agreements to pick up A380s whose lease periods have expired.
Stratos manages a portfolio of around 60 airframes.
