Boeing is expected to announce on Wednesday that it has received clearance to sell the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet to a number of international customers. This clearance has been awaited for two years, but has been delayed to allow the company to offer the full-standard aircraft, with active-array AESA radar and other systems still not fitted to the first US Navy Super Hornets. Target customers for Boeing fighter marketeers are existing F/A-18 customers, Singapore, and the East European nations queuing up to join NATO.
