LATAM Airlines Peru will begin service between Lima and San Jose from 1 January 2018, adding the Costa Rican capital to LATAM's network.
The airline will operate thrice-weekly on the route with Airbus A319 aircraft.
LATAM will compete against Avianca on the route, FlightGlobal schedules data show. Avianca offers daily service between Lima and San Jose.
