China Airlines has issued NT$2.1 billion ($69 million) worth of domestically-issued bonds in two tranches.
The first tranche of notes, totaling NT$100 million, matures in September 2020 and attracted a coupon rate of 1.14%.
The remaining NT$2 billion tranche matures in September 2022, and attracted a coupon of 1.45%.
China Airlines says that the funds raised will be used to repay loans.
Fubon General Securities acted as the lead underwriter, and South China Commercial Bank as the corporate debt trustee.
The issuance is the carrier's second for the year, having raised NT$2.35 billion in May from the sale of three- and seven-year bonds.
