Tom Davenport has been appointed head of Pratt & Whitney/MTU's mid-thrust engine programme. Dr Rainer Schwab has been named as his deputy. Davenport was most recently programme manager for the PW4084, while Schwab has held a variety of engineering management positions at MTU.
