Pratt & Whitney Canada has revealed it is in a competition to power a new member of Cessna's Citation business jet family dubbed the CJ3. The company is offering its new 2,500lb (11.1kN) thrust- class PW625 small turbofan, with Williams International likely to be the competition. The CJ3 is expected to be a growth version of Cessna's entry-level Citation Jet, which is now available in basic CJ1 and stretched CJ2 form.
